Faculty Opportunities

Faculty at One Bright Ray Community High School serve as integral members of each campus’ team of Faculty and Staff, and as leaders of their own classrooms. They are responsible for establishing an academic and supportive environment in their classrooms and for being an active participant in their school community.

Achieving academic excellence requires that all faculty work collaboratively with Administration, Emotional Support, Educational Support, fellow Faculty, and other Staff members. Faculty must communicate effectively with colleagues and students and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

If you are interested in joining One Bright Ray as a Faculty member, please see the available opportunities below. If you have additional questions regarding an open position, or would like to apply for a position please reach out to Jen Juarez, Director of School Improvement, at: jjuarez@onebrightray.org.

We are pleased to announce our participation in the 2018-2019 School District of Philadelphia District-Wide Surveys for Parents and/or Guardians, as well as for students. Our goal is to have 100% participation by the close of our school year, in May 2019. The surveys have been designed to capture feedback from the school community on five key topics related to school improvement—climate, instruction, leadership, professional capacity, and parent/guardian-community ties.

We appreciate your participation and look forward to hearing your thoughts on how to improve our schools.
