Eligibility requirements:

You are eligible to attend One Bright Ray Community High School (Day Program) if you are:

• Between the ages of 16 and 21 years old
• At least 1.5 years or more behind in credits and/or not enrolled in school

You are eligible to attend One Bright Ray Community High School (Evening Program) if you are:

• 18+ years old
• At least 1.5 years or more behind and/or not enrolled in school

One Bright Ray CHS admits students of many different ages and circumstances, regardless of previous academic success.

How to apply:

To apply to One Bright Ray CHS, you need to submit a student application form online. You may also visit any of our four locations to apply in person online.

Application process:

After you submit a student application form to One Bright Ray CHS, an Enrollment Specialist will contact you within a week via email requesting transcripts/IEP if you haven’t already submitted them.

Once transcripts/IEP are submitted and received, the application will be reviewed.

If you are found eligible, an Enrollment Specialist will contact you to schedule an interview.

Please note:  If the student has an IEP, the enrollment process may take longer due to the review of documents.

After the interview process, you must attend a mandatory new student orientation. New student orientation is either 1 or 2 days long. You will not be accepted unless you complete the new student orientation.

Required documents:

At the time of the interview, you will need to bring the following:

1. Student Birth Certificate
2. Proof of address (electric bill, gas bill, lease, etc.)
3. Parent ID (if the student is under 18 years of age)
4. Student ID
5. Immunization Records/Shot Records

Please note:  If the student is under 18 years of age, a parent/guardian must be present during the interview.

If you do not bring these documents to your interview, you will not be enrolled.
